While the Official First Day of Winter is still a couple of weeks away, Old Jack Frost has pretty much settled in here in New England. By the time you read this we’ll have several inches of new snow on the ground. This dusting of the white stuff follows the 12 inches or so of snowfall we got in last week’s storm.
A little bit west of due north from the Dumbass Dome, nearly smack dab at the north end of the Appalachian Trail, the largest ski area east of the Rockies, Sugarloaf Mountain, has enjoyed abundant snowfall and booming bidness.
Despite having lived in Colorado, New Mexico and Maine, I have never, not one time, ever been snow skiing, snowboarding or any other snow-Dumbass activity.
I am further discouraged from doing such stoopididity because of a Winter Sports Dumbass in Cal-ee-forn-ya.
